Observation- walking through UCBA cafeteria and asking a few people how they feel about what motivates them. With the initial question giving the subject my own opinion about what the question means to me and how it affects me personally.
What is motivation to you?
“Motivation is knowing what I have to do for myself so that I know I can be successful.”
“Motivation for me is just thinking about the future and how it will be different for me if I put in the effort today.”
What does it mean in your everyday life? I think that motivation can inspire people for days or sometimes for years it just a matter of how that motivation is connecting with someone and how they relate it to their life.
“I think motivation for me every day is knowing that since I am paying for my school that it is my responsibility to get up every day and go to class or turn in my assignment on time.”
How does it affect you to your day to day life choices? Motivation isn’t always a straightforward process or a specific action. For me motivation is to not take the easy way out and buy food on the way home, but to pack my lunch to save money for other things I want and develop a better diet.
Are there people that motivate you to be a better worker or friend? How do they do that?
Do you have a specific goal that you’re more motivated for that you think is different that your peers? I know this all too well my overall goal is to start the neat chapter in my life and buy a house with my girlfriend and start a family. I am very excited about that and I think about that all the time.

DOGS! Well not just the word dogs but if you’re a super fan of your dog or if you’re just a basic owner. For me, my dogs mean everything, they are a huge part of who I am as a person. I know from others that the passion I have for my little pups isn’t the same that others would agree on. Which is fine as human and unique individuals, I want to see the impact that dogs have on each person and/or family. Animals are a huge part of people’s life’s and very important to how people are individually. But as a dog lover we have a special bond for our furry friends that we feel they are exactly like family members to us. We dog people show our extreme care for our dogs by doing crazy things like pays 40$ a month to get them a special box of extra toys and treats. Or we get them new collars for the season or maybe we even dress them up for the season so they super fly compared to the other dogs they see around them, so they get super jealous. But if you’re not that boujee for your pet maybe you just have picture of them all over you room or phone or maybe you even have their face on a blanket (its creepy if you do just saying). There are for sure levels to see how you rank on your scale to how you feel about your pets.
